About One-to-One Counselling

You will have a safe private time away from day-to-day pressures to talk as openly as you want to about what is important to you and feel heard, accepted and understood. I will be non-judgemental, supportive and encouraging. 

We'll start by talking about your current situation, personal circumstances, and wellbeing. If you feel comfortable working with me and I feel I am the right counsellor for you, we'll arrange a regular time each week to meet for counselling.

As our relationship progresses we'll explore your experiences, thoughts and feelings, and think about how your past has left its mark on the way you see yourself and others today. We'll explore what might help you to feel more resilient and better about yourself and your relationships.

From time to time, I may suggest we use other approaches alongside counselling - for example to help you feel more steady, or help with the physical impact of emotions you are feeling. You may simply prefer to focus on counselling; you are in control.

 

We'll be side-by-side as you discover what you need to help move forward, and as you work on the things you want to change.

 

I charge a flat rate of £50 per 50 minute session, including any missed sessions.
