Privacy Policy

I provide a confidential counselling service. Ensuring that your online privacy is protected is a fundamental aspect of that service. If you complete the online form in the Contacts section of this site, I will retain this information as an email in my Microsoft 365 inbox until I have made contact with you. I will not sell or pass on any information you provide, and your information will be destroyed if you choose not to take your enquiry further at this stage.

If you choose to take your enquiry further after our initial contact, then I will securely store and protect your personal information in accordance with Data Protection Law and the BACP Ethical Framework. It is a term of my professional insurance that I must retain all client records for 5 years after the end of our work together, at which point all of your electronic records will be deleted and all physical documents destroyed.

I use Zoom as my online counselling platform. Whilst I cannot guarantee total end-to-end security privacy or reliability of this application, I apply all security updates promptly and strictly control client access to each online session. I do not record sessions with clients, and ask in turn that they do not record sessions themselves.
